Our programs are designed to offer parent relief. We achieve this through our St. Bernadette's Dar Care, We Need a Break, Breakfast Club, Lunch Club, After School Club, Boogie Brats Dance Troupe, March Break Camp, and summer Camp programs, all of which are designed to support families and ease the emotional, physical and financial stress that parents experience.

St. Bernadette's Day Care - Ages 2 1/2 - 5

St. Bernadette’s is proud to offer through the Ontario Best Start initiative our full day, Day Care Program. This is an inclusive child care program for children 2 1/2 to 5 years old. This program is geared to offer quality child care instruction that will enhance a child’s learning and development of body, mind, and soul. Our licensed child care provides stimulating, high quality care from experienced E.C.E. instructors whose goal is to educate the children we serve in an inclusive environment where children with or without intellectual and/or physical challenges socialize and learn from each other. St. Bernadette’s views children as active learners who learn best from activities that they themselves plan, carry out and reflect upon.

Hours
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Cost
$45.00 per day

Daily Activities
Activities contribute significantly to children’s overall development, especially in the areas of initiative, social relations, intellectual abilities, music, outdoor play and movement. All our programmed activities promote creative expression, school readiness and school success.

I.e. Arts and crafts, Gross Motor and Movement, Music, Circle Time, Indoor and Outdoor Play.

We Need A Break - Ages 2 1/2 - 5

A licensed nursery school program that provides a stimulating, supervised environment where children ages 2 ½ to 5 years old, with or without intellectual/physical challenges can actively participate in educational and recreational activities.

Daily Activities
Activities contribute significantly to children’s overall development, especially in the areas of initiative, social relations, intellectual abilities, music, outdoor play and movement. All our programmed activities promote creative expression, school readiness and school success.

I.e. Arts and Crafts, Gross Motor and Movement, Music, Circle Time, Indoor and Outdoor Play.

Morning Hours
Monday – Friday 8:40 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
Cost: $12.00 per day

Afternoon Hours
Monday – Friday 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $10.00 per day

Subsidy is available for all those who qualify.

Breakfast Club - Ages 4 - 12

Provides a nutritious breakfast in a supervised environment where children ages 4 to 12 old can start the day. The children in this program can escape the cold weather and remain safe before school hours.

Monday – Friday  8:00 a.m. –  8:40 a.m.

Lunch Club - Ages 4 - 6

A hot catered nutritious lunch program where children ages 4 to 6 can eat in a supervised environment. The children have an opportunity to eat, relax and play among a small group of peers.

After School Club - Ages 4 - 12

A licensed school age program that provides a stimulating supervised environment for children ages 4 to 12 years old. This integrated program allows children with or without intellectual/physical challenges to take part in educational and recreational activities.

Activities
Free Play, Arts & Crafts, Science and Discovery, Gross Motor and Movement, Music/Drama, Homework Assistance, Group Discussion.

Hours
Monday – Friday 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Boogie Brats Dance Troupe - Ages 7 - 13

Boogie Brats is an after school dance program offered to children ages 7-13. Our dance program is instructed by professional dancers and choreographers in the styles of hip-hop, popular, creative, jazz and musical dance. The program offers a positive, fun, social, and active environment in which children can develop their coordination through movement, while learning and experiencing the art of performance and dance.

Thursday & Friday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Summer and March Break Camp- Ages 2 1/2 - 12

Our March Break Camp provides a supervised camp environment for children ages 4 to 12 years of age. Our Summer Camp serves children ages 2 1/12 – 12. Our programs offer recreational activities in an inclusive environment for children with intellectual/physical challenges and their “able” peers.

Activities
Free Play, Arts and Crafts, Science and Discover, Sports, Music/Drama, Group activities and Games, Group Discussion, Field Trips and Swimming (summer only).

Cost
$90.00 per week 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
$80.00 per week 9.a.m. – 4 p.m.
